On the overall Games experience
The overall Games experience has been mesmerizing. I didn’t realize how many people were a part of it. It’s not just a normal basketball tournament, there are lots of other sports. Everyone wants a medal and to reach their goal and it’s fun to try to fight for it.”

On the highlights of the Games
“One of the highlights was definitely going to the opening ceremonies because that was a really big deal and I didn’t expect it to be as big as it was. Another highlight would be getting to come to the Canada Games with my team and growing closer on and off the court.”
On the athlete village
“My favorite parts of the athlete village are getting a chance to know athletes from other provinces and my own province. We played volleyball with other people from BC and we had a really good time with them.”
