Volleyball teams arrive in Wood Buffalo!

The Men’s and Women’s indoor volleyball team touched down in Fort McMurray last night. They got there first taste of the amenities and were impressed with the welcome they received from Team BC staff. The athletes were impressed with there dinner and all said that the food was really good at the athlete village. 

Both teams practiced today in anticipation of the games and are looking forward to there first matches. The women will get things going at 9am Thursday morning  when they take on Team Yukon; followed by the men at 10:45am against Team Saskatchewan. Later in the day the girls face off against the Northwest Territories at 2:30pm with the men taking on Team Manitoba at 6:15pm.
