Two wins for Beach Volleyball Men on first day

Team BC’s men’s volleyball team had a strong showing in their first day of competition taking two wins.

Game 1:
Team BC took a straight set win over Team PEI.

Team BC vs Team Nova Scotia
Score: 2-1 (21-19, 18-21, 17-15)

Game Summary
Team BC’s men’s volleyball team squeaked out a win in a tight 3 set game over Team Nova Scotia at Sargent Park in Winnipeg.  In a game televised live on TSN, the two undefeated teams battled in the 30 degree heat with Team BC coming out on top. It was a very even match and in the tie breaker game Team BC were down by three but rallied to come back and win by 2, 17-15.
