On being down in today’s game vs. New Brunswick
“You kind of see what it takes. Everyone is here fighting for an opportunity to win a medal. I thought we played with enough fight in the third quarter. I thought that showed a lot of grit. We were down and brought it back. So it’s great to see that. We just need to extend that for a longer period of time. We gave up a lot of points in the first half.”
On the first weekend of the Canada Games
“It’s exciting for all the girls here to be in this situation. We had chance to meet up with Prime Minister Trudeau the other morning. It’s been an amazing experience, just to soak it all in and to see the other excellent calibre athletes here.”
Team BC is back in action on Monday evening against Newfoundland at 19:45.
