Team BC stopped by Team Ontario, and the rim

By Jonathan Wornell, Team BC Mission Staff

“Some days it feels like the rim is wrapped in saran wrap,” says coach Marni Abbott-Peter after a disappointing 62-24 loss to Team Ontario tonight.  “Our team played very well, I felt, and the score didn’t reflect how close the game felt.  We just couldn’t buy a basket when we needed it,” she continued.

Team BC finished the preliminary rounds with 1 win and 3 losses.  They will now play Team Nova Scotia tomorrow at 1 p.m. and hope to finish their week of competition off with a fifth place finish if the consolation rounds go as planned.
