Team BC Men’s Soccer going for gold

Connor Glennon, 16 year old from Vernon BC, scored the winning goal today against Saskatchewan, with only two minutes left in the second half! The goal was assisted by Anthony Vega, 16 year old from New Westminster BC.

“This was a tough game, after the second half we had the advantage and the ball was on their end.” Says Connor.

“When we finally scored, it was a sigh of relief.,” explains Anthony.

Tomorrow the men’s soccer faces their opponent team Alberta for the Gold medal game.
Conner says “Its going to be the hardest game I’ve ever played.” Both teams are neck and neck thriving for the gold.

“Anthony says we are going to play to the best of our ability and our ultimate goal is first place.”
The men’s soccer team is extremely passionate and determined to be on the top of the stadium tomorrow afternoon.
