Team BC is sweeping away the competition

By Heather Beatty, Team BC Mission Staff

Team BC took the ice for their second game against Team Yukon last night.  They put the pressure on and Team Yukon just wasn’t able to keep up. Final score was 11-2 for Team BC.

This morning, Team BC played Team New Brunswick in a close game.  Throughout the game the teams traded points back and forth.  Going into the last end they were tied but Team BC secured the win with Tyler Tardi (Surrey) drawing for a point.  Final score was 7-6, putting Team BC at 3-0.  Looking forward, third Sterling Middleton (Fort St. John) said, “tomorrow is an important game, winning would get us one step closer to the finals.”  Tomorrow Team BC will play Team Nova Scotia, who also sits at 3-0.
