Team BC Baseball takes 2-1 win over Team Sask

Team BC 2 Team Sask 1

BC got revenge on their prairie rivals Tuesday night, downing Saskatchewan in a tight 2-1 game. The game went right down to the wire, with the deciding run being scored via a based-loaded walk in the bottom of the 7th inning.

Carter Morris (Vernon) pitched a gem of a game, going 6 1/3 without giving up an earned run.  He displayed great control, throwing strikes and then being aided by some solid defensive play behind him.  Jayden Knight (Langley) and Daniel Gernon (Cloverdale) continued their hot hitting with 2 knocks apiece.

Team BC finishes third in their pool by a fraction of a run, losing the tiebreaker to Saskatchewan.

They will have a day off from competition tomorrow, and will then play Ontario at 10 AM CST Thursday. The schedule can be found here and all games are livestreamed at www.canadagames.tv.ca
