After two weeks of action at the 2015 Canada Winter Games including 88 podium performances by B.C. athletes, Team BC is proud to announce that squash athlete and double medalist Michele Garceau has been chosen as the Closing Ceremony flag bearer for Team BC.

Team BC earned its 76th medal of the 2015 Canada Winter Games on Friday when Agassiz’s Quinten Fast rode his way to a silver medal finish in the men’s snowboard slope style competition. 

B.C.’s synchronized swimmers finish fourth in team event

Day 14 of the Canada Winter Games saw Team BC’s synchronized swimmers finish fourth in a series of competitions. 

Friday began with the duet event and the two teams of Stefanie Dickinson (North Vancouver) and Katie Stirrat (Vancouver), and Katrina Hohensee (Kamloops) and Sarah Jones (Victoria) both finished fourth in their respective flights.
