Mission Staff Monday – Jennifer Falloon

Jennifer… want to guess… does not have a nickname! Can you believe it!?

Jennifer is another member of the Team BC Mission Staff sport team, representing ringette and badminton! Jennifer started her sports career as a Player Development Instructor in Manitoba. Her passion for athlete and coach development has led her on a path working with PSOs and NSOs, to roles at major games from BC Games to Canada Games to World Championships. This gave her an understanding of the experience multi-sport games provide to the athletes and coaches who are fortunate to be part of it.

“When you’ve got something to prove, there’s nothing greater than a challenge.” – Terry Bradshaw (totally my favourite Fox NFL Sunday host – classic!)

Fast Facts about Jennifer:

  • Favourite Colour: Green
  • Favourite Food: Indian
  • Favourite Sports Team: Do I have to pick just one?!  Seattle Seahawks, Nashville Predators, Toronto Blue Jays and Vancouver Whitecaps and Winnipeg Blue Bombers (FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING – someone who not only has a favourite sports team, but cannot select only one! I have been waiting for you Jennifer…)
  • Nickname: (we established this already but…) I do not have one
  • Most used emoji: Red heart and smile (classic Jennifer)

Currently completing a diploma in natural nutrition, her previous certifications in both criminology and as an emergency medical technician give her a rounded focus outside of sport. When she isn’t chasing her two daughters around, Jenn enjoys being active and the outdoors. She is an avid fan of fitness competitions, and each time she has completed she has been a top finisher in her age group, including at a Regional Competition. She also represents sport as a Master Coach Developer, working with organizations throughout the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP).
