On winning fourth place:

KOEHLER, Matthew
“We’re happy that we went for it.   We are happy with how we raced, we did want we wanted to do. It was our strategy to go out as hard as we could, see where we were then go for it at the end if we had anything left.  Turns out we didn’t have anything left at the end.  But this was a good performance in preparation for nationals.”

BRENT, Alex
“We went for it.  We were going for the win.  We didn’t want to race for third, we wanted to race for gold, so we decided on a risky strategy.   Unfortunately we didn’t have anything left in that last 150m.  You win some, you lose some.”
