Determined wheelchair basketball team rewarded with win over Team Nova Scotia

By Jonathan Wornell, Team BC Mission Staff

Team BC rallied together after a tough week of competition and was rewarded with a well-deserved 53-38 win over Team Nova Scotia.

“The whole team was so focused tonight,” said head coach Marni Abbott-Peter.  “It was great to see their efforts pay off.”  Team BC took control of the game in the first half and held off a late charge by Team Nova Scotia to take the win.

Tomorrow they will play Team New Brunswick at 1 p.m. in their last game of the tournament.
