Bronze for Team BC curlers

By Heather Beatty, Team BC Mission Staff

Right off the bat Team BC came out looking strong.  With two points in the first end they sent the message to Team Saskatchewan that they were going to be hard to beat.  Team Saskatchewan seemed to struggle with the ice and missed some shots in the second and third ends, allowing Team BC to steal and get up 4-0 early in the game.  From there on, Team BC didn’t miss much and after a big score of five points in the sixth end, it was difficult for Team Saskatchewan to get back in the game.

Team BC won the game 11-2 and secured the bronze medal.
