Nine medals for Canoe Kayak on Day 1

Canoe/Kayak hit the water paddling today and were rewarded for all their hard work. In total, nine medals were won.

Seb Sorescu had an amazing day on the water with three medals in the K-1 1000,  K-1 500 and K-1 200.

Alex Brent also had a great day winning a gold medal in the K-1 1000, K-500 and silver in the K-1 200.

Zach Morgan won gold in the C-1 500 and a silver in the C-1 200. The guys will be back on the water tomorrow in the K-2 and C-2 events hoping to bring more medals home for BC!
